Warmth and comfort combined, what could be better through the winter? Despite our modern homes with central heating, there's still nothing like slipping your feet into soft sheepskin first thing in the morning. Or maybe you're one of those who have stylish wooden, vinyl or even stone floors. Lovely to look at but, less charming to a bare foot on a cold day.

My Mum bought me some sheepskin slippers when I was about 8 and I still remember them and how much I loved them, it made going out and putting my outdoor shoes or boots on all the harder, if only they had Sheepskin boots then as now! - or at least if I had known about them.

These slippers are all made by hand in Cornwall by people who take a pride in their work and their product. Many styles have a hardwearing but lightweight sole so you can pop outside when it's wet or even drive the kids round to their mates house without changing footwear. Just be careful that you don't get so attached that you start turning up to work in them.
