Cool Linen Wear Women's In Association with Celtic Sheepskin Linen is a traditional, simple and wonderfully comfortable fabric. It is the strongest of the plant  fibers with 2 - 3 times the strength of cotton. It comes from the stalk of the flax plant - Linum usitatisimum - and has a natural wax content which gives it a lustre. Linen has a a cool feel next to the skin as it conducts heat well, unusually for a natural fibre. Machine washable.
